I am searching for a Frank and Emeline Weston who are supposed to have lived in Wadena County
in or around 1896. I'm not really sure where to look for them because one report has them
living in Hewitt, which I believe is in Todd County while another has them living in Wadena
County. Any information on them would be greatly appreciated and especially information on

I am looking for more info on Elinor Ralston, who was 90 years old at the time of the
1920 census in Wadena Co, living as mother-in-law with August and Lydia Bentz, and
their 18 year old daughter Sylvia on Cooke Road in Thomasville Twp. Elinor and her

day. Other Boyds buying land in Wadena County were John on 10 Dec 1883 and John C. on

I'm trying to do family history research on my mother's paternal side of the family. My
mother, Joyce Erdman Moran, is the daughter of Clem and Fern (Sanford) Erdman, and the
family lived in Minneapolis, MN. Clem was the son of Albert and Rosalie (Rubichek) Erdman
(Erdmann). Clem was the youngest of six children, and they were Agatha, Marie, Martha, Frank,
and Tressa. The family immigrated to the USA in 1901 from what was then known as Selgenau,
Berlin, Prussia, now known as Berlin, Germany. My grandfather told me that his father had
three brothers, and his mother had two sisters. My understanding is that Albert and his
family were the last ones of the family to leave present day Germany. They first stopped
to meet with family in Worthington, MN, then on to Montevideo, and then for a few years in
Hutchinson, MN, where they were naturalized as US citizens in 1909. In 1911, the family
moved to Minneapolis, MN. I'm now trying to find Albert's brothers, and their descendents,
if possible. My grandfather told me a few months before he died, that two of the brothers
were Adolph and Gotfried (or he may have meant Gustav or August). He couldn't remember the
name of the third one, so it could be Clem or William. Anyway, he did remember that one of
them lived in Wadena, so if you, or someone that you know could help me out with anything on
those two spellings, I'd certainly appreciate it. I'm particularly interested in hearing
from the family of Elsie Johanna Alwine Erdmann, because my grandfather had a phone call from
a cousin named Elsie a few months before he died. Thank you very much.

I have two old family photographs of my BREHER ancestors that I need help with.
One is labeled Mr. F.P. BREHER, the other is Mrs. J.B. BREHER. Both were taken
by a photographer named Adam Roesel, of Wadena, Minn. They were probably taken
mid- 1800's. I'm not sure if they are the parents or grandparents or ? of my
ancestor Margaret BREHER who was born in St. Paul in 1862. Any BREHER researchers,
I would like to hear from you! Thanks.
